Ska Sound System is a punk party ska band formed in Montreal in March 2022, post-pandemic, by Franz Schuller of GrimSkunk with musicians and friends from the Montreal scene: Colectivo, Francbâtards, Les Van Hornies, to name a few.

The 9-piece ensemble wins over its audience and makes a name for itself with its devilish performances and energy on stage, even non-ska fans get hooked! Their live reputation takes them to all corners of Quebec to get crowds moving.

A blend of ska, punk, rock, funk, and reggae. Inspired by bands like Sublime, The Special, Operation Ivy, Rancid, Toots & the Maytals, Madness, and Grimskunk classics, as well as original compositions with socially conscious lyrics and a horn section, get ready for a wild ride!
