SIGFRIED ECHO HEMMING

Sigfried Echo Hemming is an artist, poet, philosopher and musician, and cowboy based in Innisfil, Ontario. He plays the classical violin, sings and writes folk and country songs on the acoustic guitar, experiments with the harmonica and banjo, and is experienced in multiple forms of visual arts including but not limited to film photography, oil painting and installation. Sigfried’s performance style is characterized by his baritone vocals and melancholy poetic lyrics. He incorporates multimedia aspects wherever possible, and is especially fond of mime and puppetry, and projecting his animations.

He draws inspiration from classic artists like Bob Dylan, Beck, and David Bowie. Hemming brings a contrast to his performances, dressing in ccentric 1960s styles, but singing what is described as avant-garde folk and country music. Common themes of his music include homosexuality, misery, politics, and lived experience.

8.00 - METEOR HEIST

“Indie-pop powerhouse” Meteor Heist is a Toronto-based band made up of Lila Wright (vocals), Cameron Stewart (guitar), William Kilbride (bass), Spencer Duncan-Dorton (keyboards), and Thomas Carli (drums). Meteor Heist specializes in a unique brand of melodic, progressive pop, featuring thematically dense lyrics that are rich with symbolism. 

The 5 members began playing together in 2022, and have since become a staple of the Toronto indie music scene, releasing their debut EP in May of 2024.  

11.00 - JULIE PEARSON

Julie Pearson is a singer-songwriter who has been playing and teaching music for years. With two musicians for parents, Julie grew up singing and playing several instruments, including guitar, piano, and ukulele. Her writing is inspired primarily by modern pop artists, but she also draws from influences of previous decades. Julie is currently a full time acting student and is excited to be emerging in the world of the performing arts across several disciplines
