The EXCELSIOR JAZZ BAND is a traditional jazz band playing in the Dixieland/New Orleans style. Our repertoire consists of several hundred selections, including blues, spirituals, marches, show tunes from the 20s, 30s, and 40s, along with some fun novelty numbers.

Fado@Drom is an original project dedicated to fado performances at Drom taberna. 

Musicians Nuno Cristo (Portuguese guitar) and Pedro Joel (classical guitar) team up with singer Jennifer Bettencourt to present fado songs and music to a diverse audience downtown Toronto. 

From the old neighbourhoods of Lisbon, Fado@Drom brings you the bitter-sweet taste of fado and the sound environment of a culture that goes back to nineteenth century Portugal.
