Jesse Greene is Canada's "one of a kind" blues woman but you could easily assume she hailed from somewhere further south like Memphis or even Texas. She's been likened to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix with a strong echo in her voice of Janis Joplin and earlier blues pioneers such as Bessie Smith.
Her hometown of Ottawa saw her compete with her no nonsense tough-assed guitar and electrifying original songs winning her a place at the IBC finals in Memphis TN. and again in the TBS Talent search, later prompting a move to Toronto. Jesse was recently awarded the 2024 Amy Louie Grossmans music scholarship, for artist development and is currently working on her next releases and a new studio album.

Start Run Radio is a funk and souljazz outfit based in Toronto. This ensemble of organ, guitar, drums and sax plays lots of classics that have been sampled in the 90s hip hop, modern day organ based funk, as well as originals off their debut record released in 2024, and new ones not yet tracked.
