Kyler Mackenzie is a musician who performs a fusion of Spanish and Celtic music on classical guitar. His musical journey began in the streets of Toronto, and has since taken him world wide. His musical performances took him to such places as Eastern Europe, France, and Portugal. He has since returned to his home of Toronto,  and invites you to experience his take on the Modern Folk Fusion.

Diar (دْيَار ) is a Syrian band dedicated to reviving and preserving traditional Syrian and Arabic songs by infusing them with a flamenco touch. Our aim is to cultivate and celebrate the rich Arabic heritage through our music, using easy rhythms so everyone can appreciate and enjoy it. The term “Diar” (دْيَار ) refers to the open space of a courtyard in Damascus' traditional houses, also known as "Ard Diar" (أرض دْيَار ).

This term evokes memories of our homeland in Syria, our childhood, friends, family, and first love, and reminds us of our musical roots. As we now call Canada our new home, Diar will be the bridge between our memories in Syria and our present lives in Canada.
