George Crotty has forged his own exciting vocabulary on the cello, pushing the boundaries of the cello as a jazz instrument. Following his graduation from the Berklee College of Music, Crotty immersed himself in New York’s jazz and world music scenes, playing with several ensembles, such as the Brooklyn Raga Massive, and the Detroit-based National Arab Orchestra. Additionally, he has enjoyed fruitful collaborations with Simon Shaheen, Paquito D’Rivera, Anat Cohen, and Darol Anger.

Ramon Chicharron is a Colombian-born, Montreal-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for blending Latin and Caribbean rhythms like cumbia, dembow, champeta, and porro colombiano with contemporary sounds. His catchy melodies and nuanced lyrics explore themes of love, nature, and fate. With over 400 live shows across North America, Colombia, and Europe, his fan base has grown rapidly. He has earned recognition from Latin Awards Canada, ADISQ, and GAMIQ. His fourth album, Niebla, released on September 13th. Recorded in the Laurentian mountains, the jungles of Colombia, and at Montreal's Jean Massicotte studio, Niebla reflects his innovative spirit and global influences. The album promises a mystical journey, capturing the essence of his vibrant sound.

Las Empanadas Ilegales, a Vancouver-based Psychedelic Cumbia and Salsa band, has been captivating audiences since 2017 with their contagious and groovy melodies and powerful percussive rhythms. This seven-piece ensemble, composed of diverse musicians hailing from various Latin American homelands, blends cumbia rhythms, hypnotic guitar melodies, and experimental salsa saxophone lines with surf rock/free-jazz fusion. Their latest record, "Creepy Mambo," pays homage to Cumbia cult classics while infusing contemporary, experimental synth sounds, slinky dub grooves, and feverish percussion departures.
