Toronto born and based Michelle Rumball is a maker and chaser of songs, a folk artist dusted with the jazz and blues of New Orleans. Expect to hear a transfixing voice, bespoke guitar playing and to be taken on a song trail through originals, unique covers and songs from under-appreciated Toronto songwriters like Kevin Quain and Scott B Sympathy.

Classic fiery balkan tunes, and maybe some klezmer, featuring some of the finest brass musicians from the Toronto music scene, led by Montrealer folk saxophonist Ariane Morin. With Max Forster on trumpet, Nathan Dell-Vandenberg on trombone and singing, Ian Tulloch on sousaphone and Naghmed Farahmand on percussions.
15$ cover after 10pm, with all proceeds going directly to the musicians performing.
SOUKUSTEK

Soukustek is an electrifying 6-piece band celebrating Colombian Champeta music. Seamlessly blending the rhythms and sounds of guitars that arrived in Colombia from Africa in the 70's with the flavours of the Colombian Caribbean, Soukustek is dance, joy, and history: it is Africa in Colombia.
Soukustek's debut album Asina Jue was released in 2019 and since, the group has been in high demand for festivals and venues across the country and abroad- a notable performance being Liverpool UK's Oye Africa Festival in 2023.
Currently the band is working on a follow up record to be released in 2025.
