DR DRAW

Dr. Draw and The Strange Parade is a band led by Canadian electric violinist Dr. Draw, the first Canadian violinist to enter the world of electronic dance music, coming from the 90s rave scene and performing on the international stage. The band is an epic mixture of classical culture, world groove, and disco, turning any venue into an instrumental rave.
The band features Jeff Antoine Cote on drums, Colin James Gibson on guitar, Michael McDonnell on bass, and Dr. Draw on electric violin. The group occasionally features Canadian beatbox champion Scott Jackson.
Presently the band is working on their follow up record to their 2023 release, The Strange Parade. The sound of the new record will be shaped by the shows the band is playing in the first half of the year.
