The Shraddha Pai Trio is thrilled to return to Drom Taberna with a globe-spanning jazz set for wanderers at heart. Known for their cosmopolitan sound, the trio blends classic Swing, Brazilian bossa nova and samba, Paris café, Bollywood favorites, and more, into a rich musical journey.
Their latest EP, Into the Moonlight, has been featured on CBC’s Saturday Night Jazz and NPR. Shraddha Pai’s voice moves effortlessly from silken to brassy, capturing the spirit of the Jazz Era with a fresh, soulful edge. A dynamic multilingual performer, she sings in English, French, Hindi, and Portuguese, and was first runner-up in the prestigious 2024 Panorama Idol contest.
Featuring top Toronto jazz musicians, the trio is also a favorite of swing dancers.
