Diane Roblin's LIFE FORCE project joyfully bridges the gap between listeners and musicians to foster an electric sense of connection. LIFE FORCE plays 100% Diane’s original music, which stylistically straddles the borders of composed and improvised music to reflect her jazz, funk, and impressionist influences (Bartok, McCoy Tyner, Debussy, Herbie Hancock) and showcases the creativity of her six-piece horn band. Called a “virtuosic ensemble of Canadian hotshots” (JazzFM 91.1) LIFE FORCE features Bruce Cassidy, George Koller, Kevin Turcotte, Tim Shia, and Jeff LaRochelle.
