The classical world meets folk roots, simmering in luscious harmonies, boiling over with rollicking rhythms, taking you to places of joy, memory and reflection.

KALILA

Kalila Badali is an alt-folk/art-pop singer songwriter and psychotherapist based in Toronto. At the age of seven, Kalila taught herself to play guitar and began writing songs. Having started writing at such an early age, her performing and writing have spanned two decades. Music represents an ongoing avenue for Kalila to express her understanding of the world as a neurodivergent person. Since graduating from University of Toronto with an M.Ed. in Counselling Psychology, Kalila has a started a unique and vibrant psychotherapy practice working with neurodivergent, LGBTQ2SIA+, and arts workers. This has led to offering workshops to emerging artists on musician’s mental health.

CAMILO RESTREPO

rom mundane to boisterous to outright risqué, Camilo's soloist repertoire ranges from classic Robert Johnson takes, to the more obscure predecessors of the genre, while stopping to salute folk masters such as Dave van Ronk and Doc Watson. Camilo's rendition of classic tunes are meticulously respectful of original recordings while inevitably conveying his personal sensitivities. Camilo plays all around Toronto, a city that continues to provide the atmosphere for him to hone his skills and channel his lifelong love for the Blues. Camilo has played solo acoustic Blues in the US, Canada and South America.
