The Hodge/Manderioli Quintet consists of up and coming Toronto musicians Griffin Hodge, Jordan Manderioli, Luke Nickel, Adrian Russouw and Ambrose Veno. They play music written and inspired by many of the great Black American artists of the 50s and 60s, including Art Blakey, Wayne Shorter, Joe Henderson, Herbie Hancock and others. The diverse interests and styles of the players in this group complement one another in a unique way. This debut is sure to be a swinging affair!
