WAPAMA is a collective of three dedicated musicians living in Toronto, Canada. They take
influences from music and cultures throughout the globe and improvise collectively and
intensely. They play high energy groove explorations, combining infectious rhythms from around the globe with deep melodies, and universally enjoyed harmonic structures. The results have received a great response from their audiences. Individually, the members of WAPAMA have worked with an
extensive and impressive list of artists including Alex Cuba, Josh Groban, Hilario Duran, David
Clayton Thomas, D’bi Young, Mgozi Paul, and Zaki Ibrahim.
