Although Alex Pangman grew up a couple of generations late to have sung with Teddy Wilson, the vibrant vocalist is proud to be known as Canada's Sweetheart of Swing. With pipes aplenty, Juno nominee Pangman possesses the requisite taste, talent and the historical knowledge of an avid record collector to breathe new life into the sturdy standards of the classic jazz era. She's also a broadcaster on JAZZ.FM91 on her program Swing Set, where she shares the records and stories of the swinging music that began to take shape in the 1920s, hit its stride in the ’30s and ’40s, and continues to be played by artists today.

Alex Southey's immersive indie rock lives at the intersections of shoegaze and folk. By fusing these disparate genres together with cerebral, emotionally insightful songwriting he is one of the most interesting, endearing voices in this generation of Canadian musicians.

Southey began in 2019. With each subsequent release, Southey has developed an increasingly passionate fanbase, along with positive recognition from Domionated, Exclaim!, The Manitoban, CBC Radio, CHCH Morning Show, and more. The week of January 9, 2023 Earshot chose southey as their "Artist of the Week". On July 13, 2023, Southey released a new single, "Never Listen". Upcoming shows include a set at the Icelandic Festival in Gimli, MN, Guilt & Co in Vancouver, BC, Jimmy Jazz in Guelph, ON, and Music on Main in Markham, ON.
