Hey! My name is Matthew Tenedero and I just finished my third year of Humber’s music program as a guitar player. I enjoy many different types of music but I love traditional and contemporary forms of jazz but I grew up listening to 90’s and early 2000’s R&B music so the kind of stuff really has a place in my heart. I also had a massive Beatles phase in High school. All the music that I write is very much influenced by that kind of music. I’m really thrilled to be a part of the music scene in Toronto and am eagerly waiting for what’s to come. Other than that I also like to eat, sleep, watch films, drive my car, read books, and go to church. I am very excited to be playing with my trio at Drom Taberna.

DONOVAN LOCKE QUARTET

Donovan Locke is a multi-talented vocalist based in Toronto. He started singing in church at an early age and joined the Toronto All-Stars Big Band in his teens, performing across Ontario and in the U.S. Donovan has been a part of several Canadian productions, from David Ferry’s “The Postman” to Ann-Marie Donovan’s “Sounding Rituals,” and has sung with Cleo Laine, John Dankworth and Jackie Richardson, among many.
