Cheshmak is a trio of session players based in Tehran, currently touring Canada as the rhythm section of a larger group.

Between the official concerts, Cheshmak has been performing intimate events exploring their vast repertoire of folk, jazz, and psychedelic music from the region and indeed the world.

Fans of hypnotic rhythms and ornamented melodies will not be disappointed as Cheshmak leads the listener through a journey spanning the breadth of modern Iran, from the Caspian Sea to Persian Gulf.
