An active composer, producer & multimedia artist she  invites a rotating roster of the finest musicians to improvise around her musical storytelling that cycle through many influences from folk, funk, jazz, cabaret, cinematic, post rock and pop musical sensibilities.  She has been described as reminiscent of artists including Tom Waits, Mary Margaret O’Hara, Kate Bush, Talking Heads, and Frank Zappa.

In the last year Isaak has become a frequent performer within and around the roots community in Toronto. In a short amount of time, although starting out singing the songs of classic songwriters (Townes van Bandit, Bob Dylan, Woody guthrie, as well as traditional folk songs), Isaak has composed a formidable repertoire of original music.
