With an emphasis on strong songwriting, meaningful arrangements, and playful storytelling, this Montreal-based duo band runs parallel to current popular music rather than within it, staying both rooted in the classics and fresh to the modern listener.

Isabel Fryszberg and the Uncommons are original. Their songs are written or co-written by Isabel Fryszberg. She has won audiences through her compelling, and timeless songs. She is a multi-disciplinary artist and therapist who advocates for the arts to create wellness and community. Over the last three years Isabel has released three singles and award-winning music videos.

Her band is an “uncommonly,” dynamic one and well revered in the Canadian music scene. Steve Briggs, Rebecca Campbell and Shelley Coopersmith.
