Mariia Smolinska is a talented bandura player from Ukraine, celebrated for her diverse repertoire that spans multiple genres and moods. Her performances range from meditative melodies and lyrical compositions to energetic and danceable tunes, including tracks from her favourite video games, captivating audiences with emotional depth and vibrancy. With a strong educational background, including a master’s degree from the Odesa National Academy of Music, Mariia combines traditional Ukrainian music with contemporary influences, including jazz and popular covers. She also creates unique arrangements, showcasing the limitless possibilities of the bandura. Mariia actively engages with her audience through her social media project, “The Legend of Bandura” where she shares her art and encourages a greater appreciation for the bandura. Her passion and creativity make each performance a unique and unforgettable experience.

Pachedub Collective is a Latin Reggae-Funky-Dub band based between Toronto Canada and Queretaro México. After the success of our first EP in 2013, which took us to play in different states in Mexico like Guanajuato, Jalisco, San Luis Potosí, Mexico City, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Aguascalientes, and Quintana Roo, we’ve shared the stage on our performances with International bands like: The Skatelites and Inner Circle from Jamaica, Gondwana from Chile, Alborosie and Mellow Mood from Italy, Nonpalidece from Argentina, Green Valley from Spain, and Antidoping, Lengualerta, Golden Ganga and Panteón Rococó from Mexico. Europe became a part of our musical history with the tour ‘€urotrip’, in which the collective had a total of seven performances in July 2015, in Germany, and then in Limbur, Passau, Hildesheim and Dublin, Ireland. In the summer of 2016, we traveled back to Europe for a second year in a row to perform in Spain at the “Irun Reggae Festival”, which takes place in Basque Country. In the summer of 2022, the band released a new album which is a celebration of the Mexican Caribbean, and is also planning their third visit to the European continent in 2025.

Join us at our HQ of Drom Taberna for a springtime session of classic cumbia, funky rhythms and spicy salsa flavour. Montreal’s Less Toches returns for their second Sonic Sancocho! If you were at our June 2025 event, you would have witnessed multiple encores and a sweaty, fun, packed room. We welcome our special guest DJ for the night, 936 TRAVELER - weaving threads of cumbia, Afro-Latin echoes, and tropical cadences, all wrapped in an alternative, underground atmosphere. As always, Founders, Juana Go-gó and olasconola will share a bold blend of music to welcome you to the party.
