Petite Amie is a psychedelic pop-rock band from Mexico City. Their first self-titled LP came out in 2021, rapidly placing them amongst Mexico’s most talked about rising bands in the alternative rock scene.
Characterized by sweet vocals, sung in French and Spanish, acoustic guitars, enveloping synthesizers, fuzzy guitar solos and prominent drums, their sound fluctuates between different genres, based on psychedelic pop-rock. Their main influences include classics such as the Beatles, Pink Floyd, and more recent sounds such as Big Thief, Magic Potion, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Crumb.
Their latest album Hay Veces wase released in the fall of 2024 under Spanish label Sonido Muchacho.
