PRAIRIE SOUL
6.15
Winnipeg’s own Dustin Harder is a proud Métis singer/songwriter whose music captures the spirit of the prairies. Influenced by his musical family, Dustin's journey began with guitar lessons from his uncle and grandfather. At 19, he hitchhiked to the Yukon, where he discovered his true musical calling.
Dustin's debut album, "Searchin' for a River" (2009), earned critical acclaim and an Aboriginal People's Choice Music Award nomination. Hits like "Killin' Time" and "Hold Me Tight, I Love You" topped the Indigenous Music Countdown in 2010.

BIRD MUSIC
2.30
Birdmusic is an indie-jazz trio local to Toronto. They take elements of a traditional jazz trio and blend it with the jangly sound of contemporary indie music. Their repertoire features original songs, as well as interpretations of jazz standards, indie/pop tunes, folk tunes and other familiar favourites that they love. The trio features Dan Davidson on Guitar, Henry Gouthro on Bass and Taira Macdonald on Drums.
