After the success of the June show, Forró de Mané is back in Toronto to share the best of Brazilian forró in an original, joyful and irreverent concert.
Come and discover Brazilian culture and dance forró with the band Forró de Mané (Brazil), who are returning to Toronto after a year.
Forró is one of the most famous and popular Brazilian social dances. Forró music has an engaging, cheerful and syncopated rhythm, with a theme related to the cultural and everyday aspects of the northeastern region of Brazil.
On Saturday, August 17th, Drom Taberna will host our forró night with live music played by Brazilian musicians Thiago Di Luca, Tácio Rocha, and Ju Weiss.
The group Forró de Mané was created in 2022 in the city of Montreal and has been making its mark on the Canadian music scene ever since. It has been very well received by the public and has played shows in several cities and festivals since its creation.
The group's monthly concerts, traditionally held at the La Sala Rossa bar in Montreal, have welcomed more than 3,000 people in 16 editions. Forró de Mané has taken part in various festivals and cultural fairs in Quebec, Ontario and Brazil.

Orquesta C4 was born in Toronto in 2022, a group of ten musicians from Chile, Cuba and Mexico.
Throughout these two years they have participated in different events such as the HCHC Latin festival for two consecutive years, as well as the Toronto diversity festival by the Moksha foundation, the Peruvian Canadian multicultural festival, among others. As well as in recognized places in Toronto such as Drom taberna,
Alliance banquet hall, Film café, etc. Delighting his audience with the genres of cumbia, salsa and merengue.
Orquesta C4 is always proud to share the music heard in Latin America with the whole world and all the cultural diversity found in Canada.
