Zebrina was founded in 2008 and released its first album, Trail of the Hunter Gatherers, in 2010 at Toronto's Ashkenaz Festival.  The band then went on to make its second album in 2013 for John Zorn's Tzadik record label, accompanied by a live concert at The Music Gallery.  The band was fortunate to play with clarinetist Ben Goldberg from Berkeley CA on this recording and performance.  Since that time the band has featured various Toronto-based clarinet and guitar players, with its last show in 2019.

We had such a beautiful time at the last one— you brought the love, the energy and kept it bumpin' til 4 in the morning, and we can't wait to do it all again. 𝔐𝔢𝔱𝔞𝔪𝔬𝔯𝔭𝔥𝔬𝔰𝔦𝔰 was created to connect trans people with each other while showcasing a wide scope of sounds from trans artists. Our lineups are and will always be 100% badass trans DJs, we hope you're ready to dance like crazy, fall in love and become your higher self. Making their Toronto debut will be Vancouver legend and founder of Drill Events, 𝑫𝑹 𝑩𝑷𝑴
