Fado@Drom is an original project dedicated to fado performances at Drom taberna. 
Musicians Nuno Cristo (Portuguese guitar) and Pedro Joel (classical guitar) team up with singer Jennifer Bettencourt to present fado songs and music to a diverse audience downtown Toronto. From the old neighbourhoods of Lisbon, Fado@Drom brings you the bitter-sweet taste of fado and the sound environment of a culture that goes back to nineteenth century Portugal.

If you’ve known Drom Taberna from our early days, you’ve also known Big Smoke Brass from their early days. They have graced our stage, or lack thereof since 2018, we have grown side by side, always with the same mission at the forefront: to bring people together with dance and music. This Thursday we welcome them for one last show before they rip up a storm all over Ontario all summer long. They’ll be serving the covers and originals you’ve come to love from 11:30-2am, let’s dance the night away. 
Tickets are $15 online and at the door.

DJ ESCOBUTT

ESCOBUTT's work is concerned with the degree to which identities are shaped by consumer capitalist culture and mass media sensationalism. ESCOBUTT is a non-binary digital content creator who’s multifaceted narratives and talents include a variety of media outlets that aid their exploration of gender, entertainment, and satire.
