Salif Sanou known as "LASSO" born griot from father to son in a world where music and speech are at the heart of life, I followed my family since the age of 6 in their animations through the villages of my native country, Burkina Faso, during baptisms, weddings, funerals and other village festivals. After playing for several years with renowned artists in Burkina Faso, Lasso settled in Quebec in 2009. As a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (balafon, kambélé n'goni, taman, calabash, djembe, doum-doum and other percussions), he masters with disconcerting virtuosity the Peul flute or the speaking flute, a small transverse reed flute with a captivating sound.

Their repertoire also covers The Everly Brothers to The Beatles, and Lightfoot to The Sadies.
