CASSIDY HOUSTON
6.15

Being 20-something isn’t so bad when you’re songwriting your way through life. Weaving experience into inspiration, Cassidy Houston, creates music as an ode to the resilience and beauty of love, life, and the queer spirit.

With each lyric and chord, their indie folk style captures the essence of adventure, the pain of unspoken truths, and the joy of living authentically. Their songs are not just compositions; they are open-hearted conversations, confessions, and declarations, mirrored against the backdrop of Northern Ontario’s blossoming yet ever-evolving beauty.

RONLEY TEPER AND THE LIPLINERS
8.00

Ronley Teper is most known for her genre-blending unabashed, experimental live performances, alongside her rotating collective of improvisors known as The Lipliners. A mix of folk, singer/songwriter, jazz, funk, orchestral pop, post rock, cabaret, and the blues. every tool in the kit is used to craft whimsical, surreal, and engaging contemporary art through music. It’s an approach free of inhibition that hearkens to the experimenter's like Zappa or Waits.

SARAH OSBORNE
11.00

Sarah Osborne is a singer-songwriter from the west coast of Canada. With a voice that evokes a little hard living and raw nostalgia, she shapes her own blend of folk, country, jazz, and blues. Hailing from a musical family and a background in Marine Biology, this songstress and sea queen draws inspiration from the ballads of her childhood and the beauty and harshness of the natural world.

A natural rambler, Sarah has played diverse spaces from train cars to big festival stages, to intimate little rooms across the Americas. She thrives on the emotional connection built with her audience through song and storytelling, and yes, the occasional sing-along. Merging art, nature, and a dash of humour in her music, Sarah strives to invoke positive change in people.

Fresh in the city from a tiny island in BC, Sarah has been finding her feet in Toronto. Inspired by the diversity and creative energy the great city has to offer, she has begun working on her next album and collaborating with some talented locals. Joined by one of the city’s great guitarists, Michael Eckert, they’ll be sure to move some magic waves through the room.
