Felipe Arce is an Argentinian-born, New York-based bassist, composer, and bandleader. Since relocating to Brooklyn in 2023, he has quickly established himself in the city’s vibrant jazz scene, performing with renowned artists such as Grammy Award winners Leo Genovese and Agustín Uriburu, Grammy nominees Jenn Jade Ledesna and Héctor Martignon, legendary former Kool & the Gang saxophonist Steve Carrington, and pianist Mike King. In May 2025 he released EXPANSION, his debut album on the legendary Fresh Sound label, showcasing his original compositions performed by an ensemble of acclaimed international musicians. With a growing presence across the Americas—including a successful 2024 tour in Mexico—Arce now embarks on his first Canadian tour, presenting his music to new audiences.

Headlining the night with TWO powerhouse sets, we'll have Brujería Cumbiambera - a spellbinding collective that cooks up a soulful, danceable sancochao of sound. Fusing Hip Hop’s cultural expressions with the deep-rooted traditions of Colombian Cumbia, the melodic guitar riffs of Soukous, and the lyrical flow of Spanglish rap with turntablism, the band creates music that is both ancestral and futuristic.
From Brooklyn, NY, we are amped to welcome the one and only Madame Vacile as our guest DJ - she is an Afro-Colombian fusion artist, DJ, selector and cultural activist that will bring unparalleled rhythm and energy to Drom's stage.
As always, Founders, Juana Go-gó and olasconola will share a bold blend of music to welcome you to the party.
