We Play Disco is the latest show from the creators of Toronto’s beloved 80s show, UK Calling. Born from a request to craft an evening of 70s funk and disco, the team quickly discovered that Jarrod, a key figure in Toronto’s funk and R&B scene since 2011, and Peter were the perfect duo for the job. They added disco diva Val Roy, front-woman of the iconic Red Velvet, to complete the lineup.
More than just a disco revue, We Play Disco is a live DJ set brought to life by 8 of Toronto’s top musicians. With an all-star horn and rhythm section, the show spans classics from Donna Summer, Bee Gees, Earth, Wind & Fire, and ABBA, along with hidden gems from Sylvester and Peaches & Herb. Get ready for a night that will keep the dance floor packed!
