SATURDAY

SARAH JANE SCOUTEN & ZINNIA
6.00

SARAH JANE SCOUTEN is a BC-born folk/country songwriter, paying respects to 60s and 70s country songwriters Willie Nelson, John Prine, Bobby Gentry. She weaves in British folk revival, leading back to her roots in bluegrass and old time music. After a transformative four years training as a herbalist in southwest Scotland, Sarah Jane released her latest album Turned to Gold, offering a new depth and solidity as a songwriter. This is destined to be your next favourite road trip album.

ZINNIA is the glittering brainchild of Toronto/Montana’s Rachael Cardiello — a bedazzled, heart-splitting art-pop force that dances somewhere between disco ball reflections and mountain echoes.

Her songs don’t just play — they shimmer, spin, ache, and lift. Honesty meets chaos. Glamour meets grit. Guts and glory.

SOUKUSTEK
11.30

Soukustek is an electrifying 6-piece band celebrating Colombian Champeta music. Seamlessly blending the rhythms and sounds of guitars that arrived in Colombia from Africa in the 70's with the flavours of the Colombian Caribbean, Soukustek is dance, joy, and history: it is Africa in Colombia.

Soukustek's debut album Asina Jue was released in 2019 and since, the group has been in high demand for festivals and venues across the country and abroad- a notable performance being Liverpool UK's Oye Africa Festival in 2023. Currently the band is working on a follow up record to be released in 2025.

WORLD NEWS 808909
2.30

An electronic duo combining influences of techno, house, alternative and ambient music, World News 808909 is channeled through a live hardware setup of synthesizers, drum machines and samplers. The heart of their sound lies in improvisation and on the spot mixing. It's a memorable experience that blurs the lines between rebellion and euphoria.

The debut World News album – ON STEROIDS – is out October 3rd via Toronto label Safe Sounds.
