Songs of Stolen Children is a music and human rights storytelling project, focusing on the war crime of Russia's abduction and forced "re-education" of Ukrainian children.

Led by Marichka alongside Alina Kuzma, and Zoë Santo, + string quartet, this moving project brings the stories of displaced Ukrainian children to life through song.

Tenshi is a dynamic jazz fusion quartet based in Toronto, delivering a captivating blend of improvisation, groove, and artistry. The band features:

• May Akanuma, saxophone and flute, whose expressive melodies and intricate phrasing bring vibrant textures to the ensemble. 
• Spencer Bridgwater, bassist, whose intricate compositions and driving rhythms anchor Tenshi’s sound. 
• Ben Graffam, drums, whose rhythmic precision and creative energy propel the group’s performances. 
• Alex Purcell, guitar, adding a lush harmonic palette and intricate solos that elevate the band’s unique voice.

Tenshi’s debut album, Logatomes, showcases their innovative approach to jazz fusion, drawing influences from a wide array of genres while staying rooted in the exploratory spirit of jazz. With their captivating live performances, Tenshi is carving out a distinct place in Toronto’s vibrant music scene.

BAD MACHINE

Bad Machine is a queer, disabled, and non-binary comedian, clown, writer, screen/voice actor, and improvisational loop musician. They’re weird. Their unhinged and entirely improvised live performances mix beatmaking, clown, DJing, and visual and performance art, and their goal is to shake asses the world over.

They produce and host the absurdist monthly variety show Bad Cabaret, and some recent credits include Rhubarb Festival, Open Canvas Festival, and the UKAI Carnivals of Shipwreck and Algorithmic Culture. Check if it's cap at badmachine.ca. @baddmachine
