The "Tuna de Medicina de Badajoz" is a university musical group founded in Spain in 1974. It is made up of medical students who combine their studies with musical training and the troubadour traditions of their country.
The "Tuna" is a modern evolution of the student troubadours from 14th-century medieval Europe. They perform traditional Spanish and Latin American songs such as vals, boleros, joropos, rancheras, among others.
