drop is the newest project from Toronto guitarist Dan Pitt which combines his interest in electronic and synth-based music with his influences of jazz and post-rock. This experimental quartet blends acoustic and electric instruments to give a wide palette of sounds that blend together to create an atmospheric listening experience. The members of drop have described the music as if Aphex Twin met the Brooklyn improvised jazz scene.
