Poppy Miers is a singer-songwriter from Toronto. Growing up in Toronto, Hong Kong and Edinburgh, Poppy's music taste is much like her up bringing - diverse. From folk, country and soul to rock 'n' roll, Poppy's musical inspirations are drawn from Dusty Springfield, Led Zeppelin, Cymande, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell and The Drifters. Her lyrics often leave you deep in nostalgia. She has hung her hat all over the world and recently traded her farm in Monck, Ontario for a full-time life in Toronto. A devoted Deadhead, animal lover, multidisciplinary artist and tireless champion of the local scene, she can usually be found on stage, deep in her craft or cheering on friends from the front row. When it comes to playing tunes and hosting live events, the music never stops for this one.
