Blue Velvet is an ensemble of young artists, bringing Jazz and Blues music to stages around the world. Vocalist Ashiya and Guitarist Mario Posella have been playing music together since 2017 and create a memorable experience for music lovers everywhere. 

Ashiya’s inspirations include Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Linda Ronstadt. Her ability to weave Jazz vocals with other styles of music earned her the title of a “Queen of Songs” and has been described as a “galvanizing performer” by her peers and mentors. 

Mario Posella brings his decades of experience as a session guitarist and composer to the stage and always leaves his audiences spellbound. His mastery as a guitarist allows him to weave intricate stories through music, breathing new life into his performances. Together, Blue Velvet brings the old into the new, and recreates the Golden era for music lovers of all ages. 

SWING DANCE TUESDAYS

8:15 - Late

Join us every Tuesday at Drom Taberna for our swing dance nights with swing dance lessons and a live band. Tables will be cleared so there will be plenty of space for your moves!

8:15-9PM - swing dance class, all levels welcome! $10 entry

9-11PM - Open dance with live band.
$10 entry

11-late - Open stage/jam for musicians, dance floor stays open to dancers too!!
