Amrita is a duo featuring soprano saxophonist Kayla Milmine and tabla player Anita Katakkar. Our music is like a canvas where shapes are formed by rhythmic grooves, the colour is spontaneous improvisation and the texture is an exploration of tone, timber and emotion.

Luna Ersahin was born into a life of two cultures. With a Danish mother and a Kurdish/Turkish father, in her voice, a tale of the totality of two halves, is told. Being the centrepiece of the trio AySay, the same story translates into a soundscape where traditions from both east and west melt together.

Zamira Lacosta is a Cuban singer-songwriter based in Toronto since 2014. Before moving to Canada she was an opera singer for over 10 years. Exploring musical theatre she discovered her passion for writing and composition and started her music journey as a solo artist. She has collaborated with local Artist such as Yani Borrel, Luisito Orbegoso, Salsotika, Sean Bellaviti, Juan Carlos Medrano ,Tury Morey (Soukustek), Chendy Leon and Yoser Rodriguez to mention a few. Her music is being influenced by artists like Elena Burke, Mercedes Sosa, Rosario Flores, Gipsy Kings, Jasmine Sullivan, Lauryn Hill, Polo Montañez, Pablo Milanes and many more. Her most recent creative collaboration was AdeMeyi as band Co-leader. She describes her music as Nueva trova with a pop rock, r&b, flamenco and afrocuban sound.
