Four accomplished musicians unite as Nostos ensemble, each bringing a rich cultural and musical background from Greece, Turkey, and Cuba.

Sofia Smyrnioudi, faculty at the Royal Conservatory of Music, combines advanced piano and vocal training, singing in Greek English and Spanish while playing the piano or keys. George Vasileiou draws on classical and jazz harmony studies, alongside years of live performance, studio work, and instrument craftsmanship.

Selçuk Suna blends formal training with international performance experience across jazz and world music traditions while Chendy Leon brings decades of professional experience performing and recording with renowned Cuban, Canadian and international artists.

Together, drawing from Greek, Latin, Middle Eastern, and jazz traditions, they blend their knowledge into a refined and dynamic sound in their cross-cultural performances.
